Delete your Vervox account

You can delete your Vervox account and your data at any time, for free. It's permanent: nothing can be recovered.

App Store or Google Play subscription

Deleting your account doesn't cancel this subscription: Apple or Google will keep billing you until you cancel it. Cancel it first.

  • On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Vervox, then “Cancel Subscription”.
  • On Android: Play Store, your profile picture, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, Vervox, then “Cancel subscription”.

Subscription paid by card

It is cancelled right away when the account is deleted, not at the end of the current period. The period already paid is not refunded automatically.

From the Vervox app

  1. Open the app, tap the silhouette icon at the bottom right (Account), then the gear icon at the top right (Settings).
  2. At the very bottom, under “Danger zone”, tap “Delete my account”.
  3. Type your account's email address to confirm, then tap “Delete permanently”.

No active subscription? Go on to the plans screen, tap “Account” at the very bottom, then “Delete my account”, and finish as in step 3.

From the website

  1. Log in to vervox.app with your account.
  2. Open Settings, then scroll down to “Danger zone”.
  3. Click “Delete my account”, type your email to confirm, then click “Delete permanently”.

If the website shows you the getting-started steps (no active subscription), click your avatar at the top right, then “Delete my account”.

Signed up with Apple? The website doesn't offer Sign in with Apple: delete your account from the app.

Can't access your account anymore?

Email us at contact@vervox.app from your account's email address and ask for its deletion. We reply within one month, or three if the request is complex.

Delete only part of your data

Without deleting your account, you can delete some content yourself in the app, for example a script or a recording. To have other data erased, email us at contact@vervox.app from your account's email address and tell us which data. We reply within one month, or three if the request is complex.

What is deleted

Your account, your profiles and everything you created in Vervox (scripts, ideas, analyses, videos…), as well as the links to your TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook accounts. What you have already posted on those platforms stays there: delete it there if you wish.

What is kept

  • Accounting records (invoices, purchase history), for 10 years, as required by French tax and accounting law.
  • Emails sent to support from your account's email address: your address and name are replaced with an identifier and their content is erased, then they are deleted no later than 30 months after receipt.
  • Technical traces (usage statistics, error logs, cache, history of the emails we sent you), for 24 months at most.
  • Data held by our processors (for example Stripe for payments) follows their own retention periods.
